Calendula Officinalis Flower Water is the aqueous solution of the steam distillate obtained from the flowers of the Calendula, Calendula officinalis L., Compositae
A moisturizing agent. It exhibits good lubricity and film-forming properties. It reduces trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) and makes skin tender and glossy.
Acts as an anti-microbial agent. It is derived from the Calendula flowers. Marigold finds application in formulating skin care products.
